I Don't Know Why

I'd make you so high am sure you would fly
My heart on my sleeve and I don't know why
I love you so much and that is no lie
Holding it down god knows how I try
If you should go then almighty I'd cry
More than a river that would never dry
Down like a kite that won't reach the sky
Be drunk as a skunk on whisky and rye
Hit out at people everyday on the sly
Under a rock I'd crawl up and die
Boiling the eggs that I know I should fry
Hanging myself by the noose of my tie
Baking a pudding while making a pie
With swollen eyes, as big as a stye
A problem I guess is 'oh-me-oh-my'
I love you so much and I don't know why
